About Dr. Joe

Joe Shuluga is a Holland chiropractor who serves Holland and the surrounding communities in West Michigan. Dr. Shuluga is originally from Youngstown, Ohio (don’t worry, not everyone from Ohio is a Buckeyes fan). After graduation from Youngstown State University, Dr. Shuluga attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and graduated with honors in October 2010. He then became a successful associate doctor in Pittsburgh before moving to West Michigan in 2012.

His passion to become a chiropractor started after receiving just one adjustment at the age of 15. It was at that moment that Dr. Shuluga knew what he wanted to do for a living; he wanted to touch the lives of as many people as he could through the art of chiropractic.

Joe Shuluga uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient’s lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Dr. Shuluga takes a “whole person” approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Shuluga will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient’s individual needs.
